Cottage Cheese Sour Cream Dill Sauce for poached salmon

Mix together:
1 tsp salt
pinch of pepper and sugar
4 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp grated onion

Add:
2 teaspoons dried dill – the most important thing is to taste it and judge.  Fresh is wonderful too, but I always add a little dry dill even if I have fresh.  The flavor is stronger that way.

Then add:
1 ½ cups cottage cheese, sour cream, or a mix. I like a mix, with more cottage cheese.

Stir well and refrigerate.
